This bug was supposedly fixed in rev 81575 but if I follow the instructions
for the bug entry on 5/7/2009, freezing still fails with a C compilation error.
I'm using 6.5.81614 (release candidate), so it should have the fix but
the problem still occurs.  I hope this can really be fixed for 6.5 since we ran
into it while doing real work.
