Hmmm, still reproducible for me with rev 69141 (workbench mode estudio).
Can you tell me what tool to use to view your video on Solaris so that I can make
sure you're doing the same thing I'm doing?

When I run this with a finalized estudio (rev 69141 from the official
intermediate release), I instead get a seg fault in {SPECIAL}.overlapping_move,
which I believe is the same trace as bug#12955.  So I suspect this the same
bug as #12955.  Have you been able to reproduce that bug yet?
