Here is another way to reproduce this bug.

Put the attached files in the appropriate place under ~/.es directory.
Start estudio and open a project.
Move mouse over Rename button (or many other buttons).
Estudio crashes every time with the previously attached trace.
Using JDS under Solaris 10 on x86, application font is "Sans 12".

I run into this bug all the time.  It is an absolute release blocker.
