Description
The mouse wheel works basically the same in most applications, including EiffelStudio, but there is one significant difference. In some applications, the mouse wheel acts on whatever control currently has the keyboard focus, regardless of the position of the mouse cursor: e.g., Windows Explorer, Visual Studio and EiffelStudio. In other applications, the mouse wheel acts on whatever control the mouse cursor is currently hovering over: e.g., Microsoft Outlook. I much prefer the latter behaviour. It's a nuisance having to click in the editor before I can use the mouse wheel to scroll the source code.
