Synopsis: EiffelBuild hangs when 'new directory' is requested

Description

EiffelBuild hangs when the 'new directory' icon in the Widget Selector is clicked.

To Reproduce

1. Launch EiffelBuild
2. Load existing project. All previously built components display correctly. (Everything looks good.)
3. Click 'new directory' icon in Widget Selector.
4. EiffelBuild hangs, is unresponsive. Eventually clicking 'Close Window' yields warning box titled 'Metacity' with message 'EiffelBuild is not responding', and options 'Force Quit' and 'Wait'. 'Force Quit' successfully kills IDE.
