Description
I've split the Objects Tab display area into two separate 'panes' similar to what existed in 5.6 but EiffelStudio does not seem to want to remember the settings for these panes as well as for the column widths each time I restart EiffelStudio or when I toggle between Debug mode or Edit mode.
To Reproduce
Load the DebugLayout and set the pane and column widths and then toggle between Debug and Edit modes to reproduce the issue.

I've tried the latest build and I can confirm that it does work now as expected. Thank you.
I may miss something, what do you mean by "pane settings" ? the location for the locals, arguments, results, Current object and so on? If yes, I checked again, and I have been using a setting different from the default one for the last 2 weeks without any trouble. EiffelStudio remembers that I have 2 grids: - on the left: Stack information, Current object, and Dropped references - on the right: Arguments, Locals, and Result And EiffelStudio always reload this settings. Could you try again with 6.4.7.8332 for instance (available on ftp://beta:beta57@ftp.eiffel.com/) And if this still fails can you give us more precise informations? (platform, exact settings, ...)
The column widths seem to have been resolved but the two separate panes are still an issue, i.e. ES does not remember the pane settings. This is under 6.4.7.7440 GPL Edition - windows
Fixed by revision rev#77451 This issue is now fixed for future 6.4 release.
