Synopsis: Long pause after execution finishes when run system under debugger

Description

When running a system under the debugger from within estudio, there
is a long pause (about 10 seconds) after estudio says execution is
completed before the main window responds to user input again.

To Reproduce

Compile with attached class and config file (probably does not matter).
Force environment into Debug mode.
Click on Start button.
When estudio says application exited, click on any user interface
  element (e.g., Help menu).  Nothing happens. Click again.  Still nothing.
  After about 10 seconds, estudio "wakes up" and starts responding to user input.
