Synopsis: Command line compiler reports empty error or hangs n low memory situation
Description
The command line compiler reports an empty error
("Press <Return> to resume compilation or <Q> to quit" but with no
error message) if I do "limit datasize 16384" (csh) and then run
"ec -config test.ecf" with attached files.
If I delete the "precompiled" line from the .ecf file and try again,
the compiler hangs and doesn't respond to control-C, which might be related
to bug 13718(Many runtime unbalanced SIGBLOCK/SIGRESUME pairs).
