Synopsis: Undocking Feature tool causes it to become tiny

Description
Delete ~/.es directory.
Open estudio and compile a project.
Undock Feature tool from its zone and move to left of main window.
Tool is successfully undocked but is tiny (minimum size).
I believe this is a regression from 6.0.
Similarly clicking on Search button causes Search window to come up tiny.

A similar bug (perhaps the same):

Delete ~/.es directory.
Start estudio and compile a project.
Select View/Tools/Windows.
Displays Windows window with a reasonable size.
Click X to close Windows window.
Exit estudio.
Restart estudio.
Select View/Tools/Windows.
The Windows window not only comes up tiny (minimum size) but it appears in
   the upper left corner of the screen (position seems to have been forgotten).

Using GTK+2.10.x on JDS in Solaris 10 32-bit Eiffel.
