Synopsis: Nonexistent pixmap file for custom formatter makes original pixmap overlap neighbor

Description
If I enter a nonexistent pixmap file name (e.g., "/") when creating
a custom formatter, the original pixmap is still displayed but is
moved over to the right a little so that it overlaps the pixmap to its
right. This makes the display of the row of pixmaps in (for example)
the Class tool look bad. It seems to me that a nonexistent or
invalid pixmap file should be treated as though I had not specified
a pixmap file for the custom formatter.
