PR# 11856 Unparented EiffelStudio windows in the taskbar

The attached screen shot shows an Internal Error. The Windows taskbar contains multiple weird EiffelStudio windows, possibly unparented widgets.

I had four EiffelStudio windows open on my project. Several other applications were also open, as you can see from the screen shot, including a 5.6 project and a 5.7 EiffelBuild project.

I opened another window on the 5.7 project (via Ctrl+Right-click), but the new window did not paint itself after it opened. Alt+Tab also failed to show anything, although it successfully moved from application to application.

I closed each of the 5.7 windows. They closed normally. After closing the first one, Alt+Tab started working properly again. After closing the last one, the Internal Error that you can see in the screen shot became visible.

I quit the Internal Error, and then all of the weird icons in the taskbar closed.

I reopened the project successfully.

(I seem to recall that I reported a similar problem a few months ago, but I can't find it in my support list. My searches seem to be coming up with other people's reports!)
